The study population consisted of ninth and tenth-grade students in government schools in Al-Batinah North Governorate and the study sample included (373) male and female students. The researcher used the descriptive-analytical approach as the study method and used the questionnaire as the study tool. The study concluded with many results including: 1. The level of parental involvement of students in Al-Batinah North Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman was (high), while the obstacles to parental involvement of students in Al-Batinah North Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman came with a (medium) degree. 2. There were no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the study sample members on the level and obstacles of parental involvement for students in Al-Batinah North Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman and the overall mean due to the father's level variable. 3. There was a positive and statistically significant correlation between parental involvement in its four dimensions and the students' academic achievement. The study reached several recommendations including the necessity of holding school trips in which both children and parents participate and holding periodic meetings of parents’ councils in their children’s schools to discuss their children’s education.
