Christian proselytism movements have been aggressive and quite successful by exploiting the benefits of globalization. Their primary target is the Muslim world. This research examines the response of the Muslim world to Christian proselytism movements by shedding light on Rahmatullah Al-Hindi’s efforts, especially his opinions in his book “Izharul Haq”. The researcher used the descriptive-analytical approach to collect relevant biblical data which had been Sheikh Rahmatullah’s main weapons to counter Christians’ arguments. The researcher analyzed his opinions regarding the four bibles, the personality of Rahmatullah and the social and political circumstances that he went through. Additionally, the researcher analyzed the reasons behind his dealings with Christians and the writing his book of Izharul Haq. The results concluded that Sheikh Rahmatullah is one of the most prominent scholars of India in the 13th A.H century, who confronted Christian proselytism towards Muslims. He used a unique method of conversation and debating and could prove the occurrence of verbal and semantical distortion, and abrogation in all previous divine teachings and bible books. No transmitted chain or narration of the four Gospels could be proved. The trinity doctrine was not brought up by Jesus and was not mentioned by any of the previous prophets. He further proved that irrespective of Christian denial, the glad tidings of the prophecy of Mohammad is still present in the Gospels. Hopefully, this study on Sheikh Rahmatullah would provide a framework for current Muslim effort to counter Christian proselytism.en_US
