Subject: | Hadith Hadith -- Criticism, interpretation, etc |
Year: | 2018 | Publisher: | Kuala Lumpur :Kulliyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia, 2018 | Abstract in English: | The purpose of this study is to investigate "the allegation of conflict of Prophetic Hadith and the with the results of contemporary experimental science" by invoking its intellectual authority by trying to understand its discourse, defining its characteristics, discussing its results, identifying models of these hadiths and studying its fundamentals, as well as the presentation of the results from the experimental science on its contents, and all that would contribute to the verification of the allegations of the case either it was denied or proved. The researcher followed two methods: inductive in tracing the editor of the conflict, and follow the fundamentals of the Prophet's Hadiths as well as the words that are in the course of the case and the analytical approach in analyzing the content of the case, in order to explore its intellectual repertoire, to deconstruct its discourse, to devise its characteristics, to monitor the contents of the conflict and to determine its degree of scientific reliability. The study concluded with a number of results, the most important of them were: the influence of the case on the thought of "scientific rationality" - the remaining nucleus of modernity - which gave "reason" and after it "science" a normative function of sovereignty to judge issues of belief, opinion and behavior in all aspects of human life; as a prelude to rejecting the Prophet's Hadiths claiming that it contradicted the results of experimental science and caused a rupture with it. The claim was based on the exaggerated valuation of the results of contemporary science and its apparent disregard for the current trends of science - the source of the science itself - towards uncertainty, and the eliteness away from the terms of certainty and certainty, after the quantum physics has been overthrown by scientific theories and forced the scientific community to abandon many of the theories, laws, generalizations, and put most of the major scientific certainty in doubt and suspicion. The failure of the lawsuit proves that the scientific proofs of its scientific and academic sources, and all that would bring the lawsuit out of the scope of claims and allegations. This was due to the weakness of the relevance of the specialized calls for the two alleged conflicts: the science of Hadith and modern experimental science. | Degree Level: | Doctoral | Call Number: | t BPA 355.4 N53 2018 | Kullliyah: | Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences | Programme: | Doctor of Philosophy in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage (Qur'an Sunnah) | URI: | http://studentrepo.iium.edu.my/handle/123456789/9337 | URL: | https://lib.iium.edu.my/mom/services/mom/document/getFile/rQVjvy7Nn6rjXmgnBn9wKnFJKTrTVfQd20190408151926630 |
