This research contains one of the most important issues regarding obligatory Zakah; the modes of distribution of Zakah. The research embodies the understanding of transfer of Zakah and discusses the proponents and opponents opinions about its legal rulings or justifications as well as states the most appealing opinions of the two groups. The research extends to the definition with its rules, and circumstances that may warrant transfer of Zakah. Furthermore, it explains the limitation of the qualified populace or beneficiaries of Zakah; either monetary or staple food. Additionally, it further states the rules of the process of transfer either urgently or by postponement, as well as costs of transferring or substituting it with its equivalent value. In addition, the researcher discusses foreseeable problems and obstacles that may arise in the process of transfer, as well as proposes solutions in combating them. The researcher adopts descriptive and analytical methodologies in order to arrive at the results. It is found: That distribution of Zakah in the country where it is collected for the rightful citizens or the populace that are considered ‘poor’ is the basis forgetting Zakah. However, it is permissible to transfer Zakah from the first group to another country’s citizens or another location as the case may be; considering the law on the importance of Shari’ah. Such as transferring it to those who are extremely in need of it regardless of whether they are family members or those not related to them, to those who are devoted and pious members of the muslim ummah, to those striving in the course of Allah, and to those who have the right to receive Zakah. There are rules of process in its transfer, immediacy and postponement, fee of transfer, or its substitution with its equivalent value. Finally, this research discusses the constraints in the transferring of Zakah and proposes solutions for it.en_US
