This study the effectiveness of the Omar and Mariam website as a learning resource for beginner Arabic learners. It attempts to evaluate this website after 10 years of existence as a learning aid. This study describes the learning features found in the website through gathering information from online resources and news archives. A quantitative study is carried out by distributing 230 questionnaires to Madrasah Irsyad Zuhri’s primary two, three and four students. Positive results are found for all items in effectiveness of Omar and Mariam’s website questionnaire. There are significant differences in results between different classes but not gender. Based on gender, the item “I can easily find the activities that I want to do” is ranked first among male students and item “the activities found in the website are good practice for me” is ranked first among female students. On the other hand, based on classes, the item “the website helps to improve my reading skill”, “activities found in the website are good practice for me” and “the website used interesting colors” ranked first among primary two, three and four students respectively. Finally, in the criteria of good website questionnaire, the item “a website with no spelling mistakes” ranked first among the overall students. Overall, games, exciting colors and interesting pictures are found to be listed repeatedly as top features of good websites and slow, bad quality pictures and spelling errors are top features of bad websites amongst the students. The study notwithstanding, the role of a website as a learning tool for beginner students is indisputable.en_US
