Administrative performance is regarded as the result of the interaction between the individual performance and the performance of departments and the influences of the social, economic, and cultural environments on both . as evident in research studies both administrative transparency and employee engagement factors have an important and direct impact on institutional performance. Hence, this research work aims to examine the role of the administrative transparency and the employees’ engagement in the institutional performance in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman from the perspective of employees. The researcher adopted a survey consisting of (57) items based on three criteria: administrative transparency, employee engagement and institutional performance. The survey was distributed online to all male and female employees (1727). However, only (308) surveys were considered appropriate for statistical analysis via (SPSS, version23). The findings showed that administrative transparency is available to a moderate degree. However, institutional engagement was found to be available to a high degree amongst Ministry of Education employees. Further, a positive correlation was found between the transparency of laws and regulations and administrative accountability in improving the institutional performance. Another big positive correlation was found in the theme of desiccation and a limited positive correlation with indulgence. On the other hand, excitement found to have no role in the development of the institutional performance. The results showed that there is a limited positive correlation (incomplete) between the variables: the administrative transparency, the employee engagement, and the institutional performance. The researcher discussed the results considering the theoretical framework and the findings of the previous studies in comparison to current situation, and finally concluded the research with several recommendations and suggestions for future research to the concerned authorities in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman with the aim of the development of the educational process in mind.
