Abstract

The study aims to clarify the position of modem Arab linguists on the assets of their language that establish basic grammar. It also aims to examine the position of those linguists from their linguistic entities that express their identities and ideologies. It aims as well to explain the position of the Arab modernists on the trend of the Romani1.ation of Arabic 'writing, their position on standard language since the Renaissance era the reasons faced by standard language in light of classical global language and make it a universal Islamic language which aims to unite Islamic linguistics. It also aims to demonstrate the most prominent mechanisms of globalization of language. its role in the dissemination of classical Arabic standard language and how to develop it. The study examines the most salient trends that call to the exclusion of Arabic language in the modern era, and bring to light the most important efforts made by Arab linguists to resist foreign occupation and impose their language on the people. The finding of this study concludes some significant results. including the effect of standard language from the negative impact of language globalization. the weakness pledge on the standard language in the previous and present centuries. Because of foreign languages and dialects, there is the possibility of an existing Islamic globalized language that faces Western globalization, and Islam is one of the main factors that keeps the standard language to be universal for all Muslims in the world.
